Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in Belgium: Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in Belgium. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Ryanair experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 1.9K at the end of December and peaking at around 3.2K by the last week of March. Weekly active users also saw a consistent rise from 16.5K to nearly 20K over the same period.

TUI fly – Cheap flight tickets showed a mixed trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 1.8K in late December, dipping to just over 900 in early February, and then climbing back up to around 2.9K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this pattern, starting at 3.6K and reaching 4.8K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at approximately $913 in mid-March. Weekly downloads hovered around the 1K mark, with a slight peak of 1.2K in the final week of March. Active users increased from 7.5K to approximately 8K over the quarter.

Brussels Airlines maintained a steady download rate, starting at 800 in late December and reaching around 1K by the end of March. Active users grew from 1.5K to nearly 2K during the same period.

Jetcost: flights, hotels, cars had relatively stable weekly downloads, albeit with a slight dip in early March, ending the quarter with around 700 downloads. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating between 1.2K and 1.5K.
